Responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of administration, talent attraction, employer branding, recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, succession planning, organizational and performance management, employee development, change management, HR analytics (HR Tools), compensation, and benefits ensuring a positive employee experience all throughout the employee journey (hiring to retiring).

Provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the senior management and executive management team. This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the department and indirectly responsible for all employees within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 20 years of HR experience, and international HR experience is a plus.
  • Certified HR Professional (CHRP) or similar HR certification is preferred.
  • Highly knowledgeable of Philippine Local Labor Law and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Advance knowledge in reports, dashboards, business review, strategic planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission, core values, and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected ensuring that the collaboration work model is enforced within the company.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic employer branding, recruiting, and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective to attract and retain top talents.
  • Administer or suggest modifications on company sponsored employee benefits, health, and safety programs.
  • Ensure the utilization of technology to enhance and measure the results of HR Programs.
  • Provide leadership and overall guidance as a Project Head in terms of strategic HR Projects (e.g., digital transformation (Sprout) and change management initiatives to improve employee experience and increase employee engagement (policy writing, policy roll-out such as but not limited to the employee handbook, and code of conduct, performance management, talent management, etc.).
  • Collaborate with leaders on work expectations and ensure work progress of staff by monitoring/controlling activities, evaluating performance, enforcing discipline when necessary, and initiating career development plans.
  • Initiate Leaders' Team meeting schedules whenever necessary for regular updates on policies, programs, goals and other relevant information.
  • Continually educate employees on company policies, code of conduct and advising company leaders on the legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances.
  • Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws and other government regulations.
  • Ensure confidentiality of limited access to vital records and documents.
  • Mitigate risk through regular process reviews, audit results and cost variances review and discussion with the team on current issues and concerns affecting the operations and possible threats to company image.
  • Evaluate effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data which will aid in top-level/management's decision-making.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing the administration, talent attraction, recruitment, career development, succession planning, retention, employee and leadership development, compensation, and benefits for the company.
