Broadcast Engineers

The Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for performing confidence monitoring, maintenance, and operations of the Cignal TV, Inc. Head-end Office at Porac, Pampanga.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent equipment failures and to ensure that all equipments are in good operating condition by:
   • Conducting regular monitoring and checking of all equipment and system health checks
   • Performing installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of broadcast systems and equipment
   • Troubleshooting of equipment issues and problems
   • Checking, verification, generation, and uploading of electronic program guide data
   • Configuration and system integration of new programs and services
   • Maintenance of different signal & data routers installed on the system
   • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and formulating solutions to complex incidents & issues encountered
   • Carry out system/equipment upgrades & repairs
2. Set up and operate various broadcasting equipment such as recording, video, and editing equipment
3. Test and align new equipment prior to installation in the broadcast facility or possible purchase of equipment
4. Provide operational assistance/instructions to others as needed
5. Prepare and maintain various technical records and engineering logs pertaining to broadcast equipment performance and discrepancies in accordance with the industry's standards and regulations by generating weekly and monthly reports
6. Conduct immediate action when system failure occurs

Hiring Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering
2. Licensed Electronics Engineer
3. With at least 1 year experience in Analog or Digital Broadcasting
4. Experience with broadcast design, installation, and operations, especially pertaining to Standard and High-Definition Television Broadcasting technology, and in diverse computing environments and computer network technology
5. Willing to be assigned in Porac, Pampanga
