We are looking for an IT Network Engineer - PBX

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, configure, and troubleshoot PBX systems and VoIP services.
  2. Ensure optimal performance and reliability of network infrastructure.
  3. Assist in the installation and configuration of networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
  4. Monitor network performance and minimize downtime.
  5. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support network security measures.
  6. Provide technical support for PBX-related issues and end-user training.
  7. Configure and manage user accounts and permissions on the PBX system.
  8. Document network configurations, PBX setups, and changes to streamline troubleshooting.
  9. Stay current with the latest PBX and networking technologies to improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience managing PBX systems and VoIP networks.
  3. Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  6. Experience with Asterisk, FreePBX, or PBXact is a strong asset.
  7. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Avaya) are preferred.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team environment.
  9. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  10. Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  11. Must be available to report to the office to assist with on-site network-related issues.
