Job Description

Full-Time Information Technology in Bohemia, New York, United States SN

Will be Responsible for Management, Direction and Leadership of Web Based Development Projects. Will Ensure On-Time / On-Budget Delivery of Custom Web Based Software Solutions for External Clients. Will Manage Customer Relationships and Manage Internal Resources against Client Needs. Will Work Closely with External Clients and Internal Resources to Develop Business Requirements, Utilizing Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or other Project Management Methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Developing and validating project cost and resource estimates, as well as cost variance tracking and performing accurate management and review of project budgets.
• Manage and Coordinate project resources, assuring the effective allocation of internal resources for client projects while anticipating resource allocation for upcoming projects.
• Facilitate and manage written and verbal project communications to align stakeholder, client, and project team expectations.
• Producing and maintaining project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Proactive assessment, forecasting, and review of resources and efforts required for successful and timely completion of all required project tasks and activities.

Requirements

• Three to five years of Project Management and Leadership experience in a rapidly paced, highly dynamic, client-centric environment.
• Proven experience working in autonomous, fast paced, time sensitive, consulting or related environments, utilizing solid judgment, collaboration, influence, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrable success in delivering highly visible, high profile projects on time and within budget.
• Proven experience utilizing Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or other Project Management Methodologies.
• Expertise managing multiple, diverse projects while balancing the deployment of internal resources.
• Manage the impact of project results to client satisfaction.
• Exceptional English communication skills both verbal and written.
• Highly developed analytical skills, and a demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of Microsoft Project Management and Microsoft Office Tools.
• Ability to effectively manage change while quickly adapting to new situations, changes in direction, and priorities.
• Well-developed skills in working with and communicating with senior client stakeholders including those at the CIO, CTO, and COO levels.
• Well-developed knowledge of and experience with SDLC.
• A demonstrable history of passion for excellence and exceeding client expectations.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications: Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent professional experience managing medium to large scale projects; an Advanced Degree is a plus. PMP: Project Management Professional Training or Certification a plus. CSM: Certified Scrum Master is desirable. This is NOT a very senior role. This is NOT a Programming/Development role. This role is NOT suitable for candidates who have been in staff management positions. This is a permanent, full time position (NOT a contract).
