Submeter Utility

Summary:

RealPage Smart Building enables access to spaces, services and experiences to enhance the way we live, work and connect. We do this by unifying software, products and services into a holistic platform that delivers operational efficiency and resident value.

Primary Role / Responsibilities:

1. Investigate, resolve or escalate metered utility usage issues and service tickets via SalesForce in priority order.
2. Perform monthly meter data file upload into RBMS billing engine (manual process) touching 936 active submetered sites being billed each month.
3. Troubleshoot Customer's meter system hardware and clearly communicate required action items and appropriate expectations with the Customer.
4. Troubleshoot meter system software and internal file transfer process to resolve usage exceptions and ensure read file accuracy.
5. Proactively work with leadership to help stay ahead of potential API and missing reads issues based on prebill/billing deadlines.
6. Communicate to leadership any issues that will prevent timely reads from being ready for billing.
7. Manage general inbox to ensure client questions are addressed timely.
8. Work with our Customer Service Department to remedy resident concerns surrounding excessive usage concerns including generating daily consumption graphs and calculating credits as needed.
9. Act as the point person for the internal billing teams to address questions that arise during the prebill review process.

Required Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

1. Graduate degree or equivalent; some college level finance preferred.
2. Minimum 1-2 years of data analysis experience.
