Key responsibilities
- Assist legal counsel with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, contracts, agreements and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation and legal matters
- Maintain and organize legal files, records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Review contracts and agreements for accuracy, compliance and potential legal issues
- Support the preparation of materials for legal proceedings, including pleadings and discovery documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court officials on behalf of the legal department
- Monitor regulatory compliance and keep the organisation informed of changes in relevant legislation
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, correspondence management and billing
- Assist with due diligence activities and legal audits as required
- Support the handling of employment-related legal matters and personnel issues
What we're looking for
- Completion of paralegal training or a relevant paralegal certification program
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court rules and legal documentation requirements
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies and familiarity with legal databases and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all legal work and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal software systems
- Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and employment law is preferred
- Fluency in both English and Filipino is desirable
