Overview

Job Title: Cables and Pipelines Engineer (Global Business Services company)

Work location: Makati | Full Onsite

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Mid-shift

Responsibilities
  • Design, review, and deliver technical solutions for underground utility infrastructure projects, including cables and pipelines, with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to prepare technical documentation and ensure alignment with internal QA/QC standards.
  • Participate in client meetings to review objectives, share updates, and incorporate feedback.
  • Produce technical memoranda or advisory reports with expert recommendations to clients.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes, ensuring client satisfaction and project efficiency.
  • Stay current with relevant technical knowledge, especially regarding active test plans and their specific standards.
  • Ensure all tasks and associated documentation adhere to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Follow internal protocols, policies, and standards to maintain quality and coherence across all work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals or professional growth and training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times.
  • Stay informed about the company's quality assurance processes and follow all QHSE and HR-related policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications or public infrastructure, primarily managing underground utility systems (cables and pipelines).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other GIS-based tools (required).
  • Proven experience in fieldwork and in reviewing, designing, and mapping underground cables and pipelines (preferably infrastructure or telco projects).
