This role supports the Data Office Lead in implementing the Data Governance strategy of SE within the E2E Digital Customer Relationship (DCR) function in Global Marketing.

Key responsibilities include assisting with execution of the maturity playbook within the data office and all its data domains. Supporting the Domain@scale approach execution, project management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, process improvement, and change management across DCR Data domains.

The DCR Data Office Project Manager will help in all range of data-related activities with main focus to monitor the implementation of the Data maturity transformation roadmap, in coordinated efforts with the Data Office lead and the Deputy data domain owners and their teams within DCR.

Overall, the focus will be on increasing collaboration and accountability across DCR Data domains, facilitating execution, and operationalizing key strategic programs to advance the data maturity of the Global Sales & Marketing teams.

Main responsibilities
  • Drives adoption of centralized Data capabilities and best practices (e.g. Data Intelligence Portal, Data Quality platform, Data & AI School).
  • Collaborates closely with data domain owners and data governance teams in various domains and geographies to support the definition of the E2E DCR Data Office strategy and its KPIs.
  • Advocates the coverage of Data Domain Ownership in the entity.
  • Effectively contributes to the coordination / coaching of Data Domain Owners and their teams.
  • Supports the definition and implementation of the operating model and governance framework for the XSIGHT team, ensuring effective communication across the group.
Change Management and Program Management
  • Manages Project Management Office (PMO) functions for critical initiatives led by domains and Data & Performance to ensure the full impact of data governance is realized.
  • Defines program objectives, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Sets measurable milestones for projects and establishes continuous goals for ongoing programs.
  • Collects and analyzes data to drive project decisions and provide business insights.
  • Monitors program progress, tracks key performance indicators, and provides regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Fosters effective communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and management.
Collaborates with
  • DCR Data office team: Data Office Lead, Data Risk, Data Quality, Data Operations, Analytics team.
  • DCR Data CoE and all delivery teams.
  • Data & Performance teams.
  • DCR Data Domains and its stakeholders (e.g. Geographies, Other Data domains outside DCR).
Qualifications & Skills

Required Skills:

  • Project and/or program management.
  • Data Governance, Data Quality, or Metadata management.
  • Experience with data analytics, engineering, or architecture.
  • Business acumen.

Optional skills:

  • Data management frameworks (DAMA, DCAM).
  • Data privacy, security, and risks management.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about existing data management frameworks (e.g. DCAM, DAMA) and new models of data organization (e.g. Data Mesh, Data lake).

Has strong influencing and communication skills to gain business buy-in.

Understands all data roles, how data is used/consumed and interactions between them.
