Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Together with the Head of Talent Management and Development, the Talent Management and Development Manager/Senior Specialist (TM & D Manager/Senior Specialist) will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies and programs that align with the business objectives. The TM & D Manager/Senior Specialist will be responsible for the following:
A. Developing and Implementing Talent Development Programs
- Create and execute various programs designed to help employees develop and enhance their knowledge, skills and attitude. This could include creating on-the-job training opportunities, seminars, workshops, mentorship programs, and more.
B. Identifying Learning Needs and Gaps
- Identify learning needs and gaps within the organization. This could involve analyzing performance data, conducting surveys or delivering cost-benefit analyses to determine learning needs across departments. Once these gaps and needs are identified, recommendations on how to bridge those gaps and enhance organizational performance may be provided.
C. Strengthening the Talent Pipeline and Creating Succession Plans
- Support the Department Leaders and HRBPs in strengthening the talent pipeline and identifying potential successors in the Department. Provide support in developing the employees' skills and create a clear path for them to move up the ladder. This will ensure the company a continuous flow of capable and competent leaders, preventing skill gaps and costly disruptions down the line.
D. Evaluating Effectiveness of Training Programs
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs. Ensure that the training programs are meeting the desired objectives and goals through feedback from leaders and employees, tracking metrics, and use of data to measure the ROI of the training programs.
E. Collaborating with other Departments and HRBPs
- Work closely with other departments and HRBPs to identify needs, set goals, and achieve them. To support the broader organization's objectives, this may involve forming cross-functional teams or collaborating with other departments to design the program.
F. Conducting Performance Reviews
- Oversee and implement an effective performance review cycle that provides employees with feedback on their performance, career advancement opportunities, and continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Holder in Psychology, Human Resources or any related course is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience in talent management and development – leadership. development, succession plans, change management and talent program management.
- Experience in Performance management and organization development, tracking and enabling meaningful discussions, solutions and documentation.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
- Excellent team collaboration and the ability to establish positive working relationships across the organization.
- Excellent ability to manage and influence change.
- Excellent Communication and analytical skills.
