What is the job?

The IT Director is responsible for defining and implementing IT strategy, driving digital innovation, and ensuring the delivery of secure, efficient, and compliant IT services.

Responsibilities:

• Develops IT strategy aligned with business goals and OKRs

• Oversees infrastructure, systems, and security; evaluates new tech

• Leads projects end-to-end (budget, resources, risk) with cross-functional teams

• Ensures compliance (ISO27001/ISO9001/SOC) and data protection; sets policies/standards

• Tracks SLAs/metrics and reports performance; manages vendors, contracts, and stock

• Drives disaster recovery/business continuity and builds IT talent capacity

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years in IT management, including leadership roles.

• Leads IT governance, risk, and compliance; applies best practices

• Demonstrates deep expertise in infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, and emerging tech

• Manages large-scale IT projects from planning through delivery

• Thinks strategically; solves problems proactively; balances innovation with pragmatism

• Manages budgets and resources efficiently

• Leads high-performing teams; communicates clearly with stakeholders at all levels
