About the role

Join the dynamic team at Iconique Mall Colon' as a Building Engineer. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and sustainable operation of the mall's complex infrastructure and systems. Working in the vibrant city of Cebu City Cebu, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers and staff.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and maintain the mall's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  2. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize disruptions and downtime.
  3. Analyze system performance data to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies.
  4. Implement sustainable practices and technologies to reduce the mall's environmental impact.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility upgrades and renovations.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to the mall's operations and maintenance teams.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Engineering, preferably in a field related to building systems or facilities management.
  2. Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in commercial or mall building.
  3. Proficient in the use of building management systems and energy monitoring tools.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize system performance.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work independently and lead a team of technicians and engineers.
  7. Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability best practices.
