Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

XTM International is a leading provider of translation management software (TMS). The company's cloud-based platform helps businesses streamline their translation processes and improve efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality, robust, and scalable server-side and client-side code using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (Sveltekit).
2. Implement solutions based on AEM to optimize user experiences.
3. Design and implement software architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
4. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
5. Implement and maintain RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs, as well as real-time communication with WebSockets, ensuring they are well-documented and performant.
6. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data flow processes, with a strong understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformation flows.
7. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and make necessary adjustments based on peer reviews.
8. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
9. Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on users.
10. Conduct software refactoring and modernization efforts to enhance performance, maintainability, and alignment with current best practices.
11. Prepare visibility reports on your work and regularly update your manager on progress and challenges.
12. Conduct internal demos of your work to share knowledge, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with team objectives.
13. Work within agile workflows, particularly SCRUM, to deliver features in an iterative and collaborative manner.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of professional experience in Fullstack development, with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript and AEM.
2. Expertise in front-end development using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or ideally, Sveltekit. Familiarity with front-end component libraries and frameworks (e.g., Tailwind).
3. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on delivering efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
5. Strong experience with software architecture design, focusing on modularity, scalability, and best practices.
6. Experience implementing RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL APIs, and WebSockets.
7. Hands-on experience with databases, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) and their use with ORMs.
8. Proficient in unit testing (Vitest) and integration testing (Playwright), and TDD methodologies.
9. Experience with queueing and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS) for asynchronous processing and communication.
10. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
11. Good knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration.
12. Experience in designing and improving software architectures for performance, reliability, and maintainability in large-scale distributed systems.
13. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
14. English skills sufficient to read technical documentation (min. B2).
15. Ability to work UK business hours.
