KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide end to end bookkeeping and general ledger management for a small to medium sized company.
  2. Prepare financial statements - statement of financial position, income statement and cash flow statement and present it to the key management.
  3. Ensure accounting records are accurate and free from material errors.
  4. Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, coordination, organization, communication, and problem resolution.
  5. Identify and implement process or system improvements.
  6. Participate in and support company initiatives such as software implementations, process upgrades and others.
  7. Document processes and cross train in other areas.
  8. Complete special projects, ad hoc reporting or other general duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting. CPA is required - At least 5 years experience in accounting and controllership roles.
  2. At least 2 years working with US client as an accountant.
  3. 1 to 2 years – Big 4 audit firms or multinational company experience is an advantage.
  4. Exposure with ASC 606 technical accounting work.
  5. Knowledge of NetSuite, QuickBooks and Microsoft GP.
  6. Knowledge of Bill.com and Tipalti is a plus.
  7. Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  8. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
