Job Summary:

The Logistics Operations & Inventory Manager for Visayas is primarily responsible for leading and driving the achievement of objectives of regional logistics operations through detailed planning, organizing, coordination and performance management of depot operations.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Translates and cascades the company's strategic and tactical programs and initiatives into the equivalent logistics operating plan to be jointly fulfilled with 3PL.

II. Ensures 3PL comply and achieve targets on the following performance metrics:

  1. Case Fill Rate (CFR) and Order Delivery Fulfillment
  2. Logistics processes involving SAP documentation and timeliness of encoding
  3. Programs and undertakings such as Customer , Internal and Regulatory Audits involving: (a) Food Safety; (b) OSHA; and (c) Quality
  4. Inventory control including Inventory Record Accuracy
  5. Truck availability and Optimum transport support for delivery to Trade, Inter Plant transfers and Inter warehouse movements
  6. Invoice Liquidation and Transmittal
  7. Availability of additional external storages, as needed

III. Protects and ensures avoidance of damage to company properties and management of assets.

IV. Conducts Performance review of 3PL for SLA / KPI fulfillment as part of requirement for Audits, contract revisions and continuous improvement programs.

V. Provides directions to 3rd party logistics service providers and implements strategies affecting financials and costs related to Logistics operations.

VI. Identifies and ensures the implementation of measures to mitigate supply chain disruptions and impact on logistics activities through optimization plans and coordination with stakeholders to maximize order fulfillment given operational and force majeure challenges

VII. Serve as resource person in the conduct of training for 3rd party logistics service providers, as needed, to help address personnel competency gaps and help resolve issues or concerns in operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in any of the following fields: Engineering, Logistics Management, Accounting or any related courses
  • With five (8) experience in Supply Chain & Logistics Manager with background in Warehouse and Inventory Management, Distribution Management, Third Party Management, and Manufacturing Operations in a managerial capacity
  • A Certified Supply Chain practitioner is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) operations.
  • Appropriate experience in both ambient, chilled, and frozen environment, preferably on a cold storage operation
  • Knowledgeable on Financial performance analysis
  • Knowledgeable on Quality and Food Safety Standards and Guidelines and GMP/GWP/SSOP
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoints).
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Proficient on both oral and written communication
