Junior Content Manager

Compensation: ₱30,000 - ₱50,000 / month

Description We are looking for a Junior Content Manager to assist the marketing team in the upkeep, planning and curation of BandLab's content across our social channels. You will play an integral role in BandLab's social sphere, making sure that our content remains engaging and vibrant for our community of music creators.

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will get to dip your toes into all aspects of social media marketing, as well as in the curation of potential music opportunities for our users. If you're passionate about all things social and content, and are energized by the challenge of transforming the mundane to meaningful, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Social Media Manager in the growth, upkeep, and maintenance of BandLab's social media channels
  • Assisting with the curation of Opportunities under our BandLab Membership offering, bringing the best partnerships to our users
  • Social listening across all channels to understand user sentiment
  • Contributing your own ideas, developing the team's content ideas and bringing briefs to life to create marketing campaigns large and small
  • Supporting all other content-related marketing activities for our channels
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Based in Manila and authorized to work in the Philippines without the need for a work permit or visa sponsorship
  • Just graduated at a postgraduate level in marketing, mass communications or a similar field
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or working in a marketing team is preferred
  • Adept at social media and its various functions, specifically Instagram and TikTok
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, is solutions-oriented and possesses a constant desire to improve
  • A digital native with a finger on the pulse of popular culture (especially in our key markets like the US) with awareness of emerging trends in music
  • Someone who is collaborative and can form good working relationships with different individuals, teams and stakeholders
  • Someone who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and engage our users with new campaigns and ideas
  • Ability to work well remotely and independently
  • Love for music and music production are a plus
Location and Benefits We are a diverse team, where some roles are tied to particular regions or time zones to ensure effective connection and collaboration. For this role, applicants must be based in Manila (and authorized to work in the Philippines without the need for a work permit or visa sponsorship) to be considered.
