About the role

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Helpdesk Technician to join our dynamic team at Dumaguete Bank. In this full-time position based in Head Office at Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our IT infrastructure and systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software issues

  • Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, networks and peripherals

  • Perform routine backups and data management tasks to ensure the integrity and security of our IT systems

  • Help monitor and maintain the performance of our servers, networks and other IT assets

  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and solutions

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of IT-related activities and resolutions

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a junior or entry-level IT support role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting

  • Good understanding of operating systems and common business applications

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

  • Willingness to learn and expand your technical knowledge and skills
