About the role
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Helpdesk Technician to join our dynamic team at Dumaguete Bank. In this full-time position based in Head Office at Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our IT infrastructure and systems.
What you'll be doing
Provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software issues
Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, networks and peripherals
Perform routine backups and data management tasks to ensure the integrity and security of our IT systems
Help monitor and maintain the performance of our servers, networks and other IT assets
Participate in IT projects and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and solutions
Maintain accurate documentation and records of IT-related activities and resolutions
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a junior or entry-level IT support role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting
Good understanding of operating systems and common business applications
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Willingness to learn and expand your technical knowledge and skills
