About the role:

This role is for Implementation Conversion Analyst Specialist – Reconciliation IT. The team is responsible for data management and reconciliations automation using FIS platforms for BPaaS customers.

What you will be doing:

1. Examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers and complete data mapping and transaction workflows as the basis for conversion to FIS systems.
2. Advanced professional role having broad expertise of technology platforms required for the role.
3. Uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
4. Works independently on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
5. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
6. Expected to be primary mentor for others on staff and is a role model for rest of team.
7. Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
8. Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge.
9. Identifies and provides solutions to complex mapping or interface requirements of unique projects and examines data field conversion requirements.
10. Evaluates and tests all complex processing and interface requirements of unique customization work.
11. Identifies additional opportunities to provide more products, services or other resources to customer.
12. Participates as a senior member in strategic planning and direction.
13. Develops, documents, and implements standards, guidelines, direction and education on process/procedures for staff.
14. Assigned to the most highly visible, sensitive, and critical projects and may be used in a consulting capacity.
15. Typically requires a minimum of six plus years implementation and/or conversion experience with a demonstrated ability to handle high project complexity.

Technical skills:

1. Configuration and setup of reconciliations on enterprise applications – FIS Data Integrity Manager (Formerly IntelliMatch) or other tools like Smart Stream TLM, Gresham CTC (Required)
2. Data analysis and automation - Strong database skills with understanding of DML and DDL commands and able to write complex stored procedures. (Required)
3. Data management and file preprocessing – Hands on experience of reviewing different type of file sets and mapping, transforming, and importing data using ETL tools (e.g. DataStage / Informatica) or general-purpose scripting (like Batch, Perl, etc.) (Required)
4. Business Intelligence reporting – Hands on experience of exporting data from SQL databases using tools like SAP Crystal Reports or Business Objects (Preferred)
5. Ticketing and Workflow – Hands on knowledge of ServiceNow and JIRA (Preferred)

Functional Skills and Knowledge that you bring:

1. Understanding of all modules for desktop and web application of Intellimatch or similar applications
2. Understanding of post trade reconciliations in Banking and Financial Services
3. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
4. Complex issue triage, investigation, and coordination to closure
5. Coordinating UAT support and problem solving
6. Willingness to learn new technologies.
7. Experience of working in an Agile environment
8. Excellent written & oral communication

Job Description (What you will be doing):

1. Face off with business teams and client services on projects for requirements gathering and analysis.
2. Work on new client conversions and enhancements, code changes for existing clients.
3. Participate in corporate initiatives and technical system upgrades.
4. Configuration and setup of reconciliations on FIS platforms
5. Create and maintain specifications and documentation.
6. System Integration Testing and Unit testing
7. Training end users on application functionality
8. UAT Co-ordination and Change management
9. Co-ordination of upstream and downstream IT teams
10. Participation in stand-up meetings
11. Resolving technical issues and supporting functional user queries where required
12. Participating in production implementations and warranty support
13. Supporting and maintaining the recons for ongoing changes
