About Aeven's Automation, AI & Tools Team

Aeven's Automation, AI & Tools division is a dynamic and innovative group at the forefront of technological advancement. We are responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of integrated technologies, including Infrastructure Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Telemetry Monitoring & Logging Solutions (TMLS), Monitoring solutions, IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). We empower Aeven's growth journey by providing cutting-edge solutions for both traditional on-premise infrastructure and application outsourcing, as well as hybrid cloud services. The Role: Automation Operations Specialist - Your Mission

As an Automation Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in automating infrastructure tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and optimizing our processes. You will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Creating and maintaining unattended software installation packages for various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation scripts and processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and trends.
• Documenting automation processes and procedures.
• Improving and maintain existing automated processes.

Your Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for automation and a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications:

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Logical and modular thinking when creating any automations
• Able to work in Agile and/or ticket-based environments (ITIL)

Required technical experience:

• Solid hands-on in any specific programming language (at least 6 months experience) specially in creating scripts used for unattended deployment/installation of software applications and other automation-related tasks.
• .NET, PowerShell, Python, Bash, BAT, Java or anything related.
• SQL or other Database administration experience.
• Knows CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete)

Preferred but not required:

• Knowledge in REST/SOAP API integration.
• Low Code / No Code experience.
• Micro Focus Operations Orchestration (previously HPOO), UIPath, Power Automate or anything related
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms
• VMWare/Proxmox/Hyper-V or anything related.
• Familiarity with deployment tools
• Micro Focus Server Automation (previously HPSA)/SCCM or anything related.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 1 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
