We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Payroll Analyst II. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a crucial role in ensuring flawless payroll processes and compliance with audit, SOX controls, and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary

To ensure timely and accurate processing of all weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. This position involves engaging with individuals at different levels within and outside the organization. Strong interpersonal skills and judgement, along with tact and diplomacy, are necessary for troubleshooting issues and effectively communicating updates to both internal and external customers. Efficiency in this role necessitates a detailed comprehension of pertinent payroll processes and systems, as well as policies and procedures. Performing all duties of this position with accuracy is essential. The ability to take initiative and demonstrate organizational skills is valuable in order to complete a high volume of work within tight deadlines.

The position reports directly to the Payroll Team Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage payroll, ensuring that payroll cycles, posting, costing and accounting due dates at multiple locations are strictly adhered to by all parties.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely filing and payment of statutory payroll withholding taxes/social security contributions to relevant government authorities including FBT.
  • Provide comprehensive and timely responses to employees and managers, in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
  • Resolve critical issues by identifying the underlying causes and successfully implementing appropriate corrective actions for complex or non-routine situations.
  • Responsible for updating and aligning standard operating models including standard payroll report formats, SOP, checklist, payroll calendars, record keeping, etc.
  • Keep abreast of payroll regulatory changes, review and analyze tax and legal regulations, identify issues/implications affecting the company and employees and update related payroll processes.
  • Provide back-up support to team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' proven experience in payroll with a minimum of 1 year of Philippines, Australia and New Zealand payroll experience in MNC or Shared Service environment.
  • Payroll working experience in processing end-to-end payroll.
  • Payroll implementation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADP Systems, Workday system and Service Now ticketing system preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Able to interact with all levels, customers, vendors, and primarily with employees, line managers, HR partners and HR Operation Team.
  • Strong dedication to providing timely and quality service to customers.
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding payroll accuracy.
  • High standards of confidentiality and compliance in terms of private and confidential data management, documents, and process control.
  • Proficient in multitasking, a standout colleague, motivated to achieve goals, and responsible for delivering excellent results within the provided timeframe.
  • Good command of MS-Office (especially Excel).
