We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Tax Reporting.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring that tax reports solutions sent out to clients are accurate and provided to final clients in a timely manner. Being at the end of the operational chain, the tax reporting activity monitoring is a privileged way to detect any upstream issues, discrepancies within operations/core systems.
  2. Ensure that the processing teams meet all key performance indicators and key risk indicators as defined in the Performance Level Agreements. Demonstrate improvements year-on-year in said indicators.
  3. Manage operational contingency requirements on an ongoing basis by keeping the contingency requirements continually updated in terms of strategic changes on account of migration growth plans in conjunction with core BCP team.
  4. Practical approach to problem solving. Demonstrate an understanding of FIM requirements, local business procedures and Audit recommendations.
  5. Ensure team MI maintained & completed daily.
  6. Carry out primary level of investigation for any errors, complaints, or ops losses.
  7. Conduct user acceptance test before launch of new products/systems or strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. 5-6 years of experience in a middle management role with at least 2-3 years of experience in managing asset servicing and tax reporting.
  2. Experience in and understanding of the background behind tax reporting figures/detected issues.
  3. Ability to interact and manage multi-cultural teams and stakeholders.
  4. Operational Risk Management Experienced.
  5. Strong Relationship Management.
  6. Demonstrable change and re-engineering delivery.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
