Role Summary

As part of the Legal Unit, this role involves providing vital support to the organization's Legal Advisor, Administrative/HR Department, and Project Development Teams. The individual will focus on managing compliance and regulatory tasks to ensure adherence to legal and organizational protocols. Ideal candidates are proactive, meticulous professionals with experience in sustainable energy legal frameworks. Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential, alongside a commitment to teamwork and sound decision-making.

Key Duties
  • Prepare and review a variety of legal documents, such as agreements, legal correspondence, memoranda, and corporate paperwork.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of essential company records and files.
  • Manage the submission of applications for new company incorporations, amendments to organizational charters, and filing of general information documents.
  • Draft essential resolutions and certifications required for corporate governance.
  • Handle the preparation of documentation tied to land deeds and property title transfers.
  • Conduct detailed legal research to gather critical regulatory information, particularly in the context of sustainable energy initiatives.
  • Ensure organized legal documentation and facilitate the secure transfer of records.
  • Perform administrative actions such as preparing meeting minutes, summarizing project developments, creating reports, assembling presentations, and arranging logistical needs for travel or site visits.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and legal standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the execution of day-to-day corporate and legal operations.
  • Tackle additional tasks as assigned by team leadership, including the Legal Advisor, HR Manager, Project Coordinators, or executive team members.
Essential Criteria
  • Educational background in Legal Studies, Political Science, Humanities, Liberal Arts, or a similar discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' professional experience, with a focus on legal work related to sustainable energy initiatives.
  • Atleast 3 years of Renewable Energy industry experience
  • Proficiency in productivity tools including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong aptitude for processing detailed information rapidly and developing well-reasoned solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Effective team collaborator with the capacity to work independently.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for organizational objectives.
