Role/Department:

This professional will join an operational finance team supporting the Global Regulatory Reporting System (GRS) used across North America, APAC and EMEA. The role focuses on designing and executing consistent and well-controlled processes to support complete and accurate data sets used for regulatory reporting across all regions. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with large data sets, and able to connect data to financial outputs. A strong control background is critical to ensure processes meet business, regulatory and third-party expectations. Effective communication within the team and with regional business units is required as the team supports regions within multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities:

  • Validate and maintain accuracy and completeness of data sets sourced into GRS (including timely updates of reference and static data).
  • Run data quality routines to identify and resolve data issues prior to reporting.
  • Perform data set adjustments and execute updates in the reporting system.
  • Test changes within the system for vendor releases.
  • Review and action exception reports.
  • Assist with requirements updates and testing for changes to configuration.
  • Communicate with multiple stakeholders, including teammates, regional business units, Finance IT and vendors.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience in a financial industry finance or accounting role with emphasis on data quality and effective controls.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to challenge the status quo and suggest process improvements for efficiency and consistency.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team where data accuracy and timeliness are critical.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse groups and levels of financial and operating personnel.
  • Prior experience with Adenza (Axiom) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
  • 2-3 years of related work experience

Working Schedule/Hours:

Mon–Fri, 4pm – 1am Manila time
