About the role

As the E-Commerce Specialist, you will be pivotal in driving our online sales success. Collaborate with various departments to craft well-rounded strategies and maintain our position at the forefront of digital innovation in the window furnishings sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Strategy: Develop and implement strategies tailored to the Australian market with a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and optimizing the online shopping experience.
  2. Website Oversight: Build, manage, and optimize our e-commerce website on Word Press and Flowrix, ensuring functionality and seamless navigation aligning with local market preferences.
  3. Product Management: Oversee product listings with high-quality content, competitive pricing, and accurate inventory management.
  4. Digital Marketing Initiatives: Lead targeted SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns to boost site traffic and sales.
  5. Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to enhance the user experience and promote satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Performance Analytics: Utilize tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager to monitor metrics and adjust strategies for improved results.
  7. Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, and logistics teams to ensure the cohesive execution of initiatives, including SEO, SEM, and social media integration.
  8. Market Trends: Stay informed about trends and best practices to leverage growth opportunities in the Australian market.
  9. Budget Management: Develop and oversee the e-commerce marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
  10. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze site traffic, product performance, and campaign impact using Xero and other analytics tools to drive strategic decisions.
  11. Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Manage product ordering and logistics to ensure seamless inventory management and shipping processes.
  12. Email Marketing & CRM: Implement and optimize email marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and customer databases to drive retention and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in similar roles.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with platforms like Shopify and digital advertising tools such as Google and Meta Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Dot Digital, Braze email marketing platform or similar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
  • Understanding of HTML and web design principles.
  • Familiarity with Australian e-commerce regulations and consumer protection laws.
