Responsibilities

As a Graduate Cyber Security Consultant, you will participate in a variety of trainings and engagements, ranging from Cyber Transformation, Cyber Defense Operations, Identity and Access Management, and Data Protection and Privacy. You will work in a global collaborative group environment for our Cyber projects for our customers across the globe. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will need excellent analytical problem-solving skills and are required to be organized and methodical in your approach. Similarly, you're expected to anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior team members. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in Cyber Transformation, Cyber Defense Operations, Identity and Access Management, and Data Protection and Privacy projects.
  • Working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest security and technology developments.
  • Researching/evaluating emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them.
  • Executing the engagement requirements with minimum guidance from senior team members.
  • Helping prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel.
  • Building strong internal relationships within EY Consulting Services and with other services across the organization.
  • Contributing to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining Cyber Security professionals.
  • Maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills.
  • Understanding and following workplace policies and procedures.
  • Building a quality culture at Global Delivery Services.
  • Fostering teamwork and leading by example.
  • Participating in training and continuous improvement.
  • Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Understanding of some cyber/information security concepts and risk and controls concepts.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to challenge and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Governance and reporting knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must
  • Have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT, Cyber Security, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrate a passion for cyber security.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills (English and local language; Mandarin will be a plus).
  • Be open to flexible working hours.
