Esports Production & Logistics Manager - BGC - Up to 80K

Objective:

The Production & Logistics Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the post-booking stage of event planning and execution. This includes coordinating all events with vendor/agency related services, including event management, logistic operations, set-up, equipment service, and production logistics. Additionally, the Production & Logistics Manager is responsible for gathering and disseminating all event-related information to various departments throughout the arena, including facilities, production, and broadcast production related systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the event operations by vendor/agency, including game-day and non-game day related event setups and activities.
  2. Maintain and develop relationships with a wide variety of vendors and suppliers.
  3. Coordinate the relationship and productivity of stagehands, rigging, and other labor contractors.
  4. Work with various arena and team departments to meet event staffing and production needs.
  5. Assist in planning and executing event-related expenses and budgets.
  6. Coordinate floor plans for events based on building safety code. Secure proper permits for events. Ensure compliance with all applicable fire, building, and safety codes.
  7. Prepare supporting documentation including event notes, expense estimates, and post notes.
  8. Manage the department budget, including Operating, Maintenance, and Capital Projects as related to production services.
  9. Monitor stagehands, riggers, and other event-related contract personnel.
  10. Maintain and develop relationships with event support vendors and rental houses that provide services for event-related activities.
  11. Execute Production Meetings with various arena and tenant departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of event information.
  12. Manage arena-related broadcast, production, and technical setup aspects.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in a media agency or TV production environment with demonstrated effective event management, technical, and personnel management experience.
  2. Significant successful similar and compatible event facility experience, business experience, or similar event experience preferred.
  3. Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  4. Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  5. Proven ability to organize and coordinate projects and personnel.
  6. Familiarity with crowd management and control techniques.
  7. Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
