About the Job:
Are you detail-oriented and ready to make a difference in the healthcare industry? As a Medical Biller, you'll play a key role in managing the financial side of patient care by calculating and collecting payments for medical services. Your day-to-day will involve updating patient information, preparing invoices, and creating payment plans to ensure billing is accurate and timely. If you have a knack for billing software, a strong understanding of medical insurance policies, and excellent communication skills, this is the perfect opportunity to make an impact
What You'll Do:
- Calculate and collect payments for medical services rendered, ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Update and maintain patient data to ensure correct billing information.
- Prepare and process invoices for medical procedures, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups.
- Develop and manage payment plans for patients, ensuring financial policies and regulations are adhered to.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and insurance agents to resolve billing inquiries and issues.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of medical insurance policies and billing software to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Work in a fast-paced medical administrative office environment, ensuring patients are billed efficiently and accurately.
What You'll Bring:
- At least 2-3 years Medical Billing experience
- Experience with SNF and PCC
- Healthcare insurance background is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
