A little about the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with experience in accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and ERP systems. If you have experience with Epicor or another large ERP system, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
  • Assist with month-end close processes and reporting.
  • Process manual invoice entries with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform General Ledger (GL) coding for transactions.
  • Support SRO and ATO-related lodgments.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain the Capital Expenditure Register.
  • Generate Aged AR and AP reports.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist with financial year-end (FYE) audits.
  • Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel to Australia for an initial 2-week training period (company-sponsored).

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with an Australian company is highly desirable.
  • CPA accreditation
  • Experience with Epicor ERP (or a large ERP system) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role or a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exposure to basic data analytics or a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies or systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Diploma or higher qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
