About the role: The client’s financial services executive search desk places portfolio managers, traders and quant developers into hedge funds and large asset managers such as Citadel and Millennium. Their clients also hire straight out of school, and that's the market you'll own. You'll build a pipeline of PhD talent in mathematics, computer science and statistics from top-tier US universities and hand the client’s team candidates who are qualified, interested and ready to talk.
Salary: 50,000 PHP per month
Set Up: 1 RTO per month (for training) then transition to full remote.
What you'll do
- Source final-year PhD students and recent PhD graduates in mathematics, computer science or statistics from top-tier schools (Ivy League, MIT, Stanford). Not finance majors.
- Use LinkedIn as the primary channel, since this market sits outside finance. Chinese and Indian students studying in the US are a strong pocket of interest.
- Run outreach and first-stage screening: confirm each candidate is actively looking, open to financial services.
- Submit screened resumes to the team, who handle scheduling and the rest of the process (scheduling may be added later).
- Track your funnel weekly: resumes sourced, connect rate, screened candidates and submissions.
KPIs (starting placeholders, tightened once real throughput is visible)
- Target: 1 deal per quarter
- ~100 submissions to land a deal, from ~200 resumes sourced
- Broken down weekly, with connect rate (10-15% LinkedIn benchmark) and screened candidates tracked underneath
Requirements
- Comfortable with high-volume LinkedIn sourcing and outreach
- Able to work US business hours
- Experience sourcing academic, research or STEM talent
- Exposure to US recruiting or financial services clients
- Technical recruiting background (nice to have).
