Export Shipping Coordinator

DUTIES:

  1. On schedule handling of export shipments, permit, declaration, and transport documentation worldwide.
  2. Complete handling of B/L preparation and docs issuing.
  3. Corresponding with customers and vendors worldwide.
  4. Handling of complete export documentation process.
  5. Maintaining good customer relationship including problem solving.
  6. Managing and implementing department goals and quality guidelines.
  7. Attend to email correspondence with customers and overseas agents.
  8. Prepare billing invoice to customers and verify invoices from vendors.
  9. Handles inquiries from Agents, Forwarders, Shippers, Co-Loaders etc., and attends to their needs and complaints.
  10. Ensuring deadlines for submission of documents are met.
  11. Submit manual and online manifest to carrier before the given cut-off time.
  12. Ensure accurate data entry by cross-checking MBL against transshipment BL and BL drafts provided by customers.
  13. Prepare and send Pre-alert, Export Cargo Manifest, MBL and other related documents to various destination agents in a timely manner.
  14. Coordinates shipping status with destination agents for clearance on overseas deliveries.
  15. Creation of payment voucher to carrier.
  16. Knowledgeable to use AFR Filling for Japan Shipment.
  17. Monitor email from time to time to assist Customer/Carrier/Agent when needed.
  18. Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by superior.

Experience and Skills:

  1. Prefer experience in logistics/Freight Forwarding (NVOCC).
  2. Knowledge of AMS/Emanifest/AFR filling, Export declaration.
  3. Experience in cross-border logistics is of added advantage.
  4. Good knowledge in MS Office suite.
  5. Strong command in English.
  6. Team player with proactive work attitude.
