Data Scientist

Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science activities include the specification, design, implementation, test, validation, and industrialization of advanced data management, artificial intelligence, and analytic functions to be incorporated in products, systems, and solutions, as well as the evaluation of technologies, tools, and processes to improve development practices within the company.

Targeted applications include performance evaluation and benchmarking; data correlation and prediction; condition monitoring, diagnosis, and maintenance; and systems; context-dependent planning, scheduling, and control; and design and operation support through artificial intelligence, probabilistic/statistic calculus, and simulation.

TAT, Core Engineering & Technology:

Supports product, offer, and solution teams to bring data and knowledge-driven artificial intelligence and analytic functions (including optimization and dependability) into the offers and ensure that proper development practices (in particular, model validation) are implemented.

Produces technical specifications concerning advanced data management, artificial intelligence, and analytic functions to be incorporated in products, systems, and solutions, in cooperation with marketing. - Designs, implements, tests, and validates the prototypes of these functions.

- Prepares the validation and industrialization phases of these functions.

- Investigates and evaluates technologies, tools, and processes to improve advanced data management, artificial intelligence, and analytics development practices within the company.

- Fulfills technical missions, with autonomy to propose/develop complex solutions in a technical domain. May have hierarchical or functional responsibilities. May provide mentoring, instructions/assistance, helps establishing internal procedures and best practices. Work is given through general guidelines, and independent and collaborative in nature.

- Designs and develops complex data management/artificial intelligence/analytic models and applications.

- Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process and in agile mode.

- May direct a few Engineers/Technicians.

- Typically requires 5 to 8 years of related experience.

Required Skills

A Senior Professional applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education, professional certifications, accreditations, and work experience.

Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision. Ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. May supervise para-professional employees.

Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Who would be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (technical background required)
• Proven experience as a Data Science or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Alteryx, Tableau, MS Office
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Project Management Tool like JIRA
• Familiarity with data integration tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Understanding of service business processes is a plus.
