We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Manager with a strong background in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and S/4 HANA to join our IT team at the Manager level. This position will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP FICO solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accounting best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP FICO configuration, a deep understanding of financial processes, and experience working with S/4 HANA. A CPA designation or strong accounting background is highly preferred, as this role requires the ability to translate complex financial requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP FICO Implementation & Support: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions, with a focus on financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) modules. Ensure that the solutions meet business needs and align with accounting standards.
  • S/4 HANA Expertise: Oversee the transition to, or optimization of, SAP S/4 HANA in financial processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to analyze and enhance financial processes, recommending SAP FICO best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • System Configuration: Lead the configuration of SAP FICO modules, ensuring that system functionalities meet business requirements and comply with accounting regulations.
  • Project Management: Manage SAP FICO-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Provide leadership to project teams, drive issue resolution, and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support the setup and maintenance of financial reporting systems within SAP, ensuring the integrity of financial data and the timely generation of accurate reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for finance and accounting stakeholders, gathering requirements, providing regular updates, and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users in SAP FICO processes and best practices. Ensure end users understand system functionalities and can operate the software effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on SAP FICO enhancements, industry standards, and emerging technologies. Propose improvements to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and accuracy of financial systems.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional analysts, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to support and enhance SAP FICO solutions. Foster a collaborative environment to drive team success and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO), with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4 HANA, particularly in the financial modules (FI/CO).
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, with the ability to align SAP functionality with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party applications.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful SAP projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues in SAP FICO functionality and business processes.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and best practices in accounting and finance.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation or migration is a significant advantage.
