Job Summary

The Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant (Mid-Level) is responsible for independently handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping and providing structured administrative support to ensure efficient financial and office operations. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can manage accounting tasks with minimal supervision while coordinating administrative processes, documentation, and internal support across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and disbursements.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and monitor general ledger accounts and bank statements.
  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices, receipts, and official financial documents.
  • Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries, schedules, and supporting reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate and well‑organized financial records for audit, compliance, and internal reference.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams regarding billing, payments, and financial documentation.
  • Assist in audit preparation and basic compliance requirements as needed.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support, ensuring proper documentation, filing systems, and record management.
  • Prepare and organize internal reports, contracts, and administrative documents.
  • Act as a point of coordination between finance, operations, and external partners when necessary.
  • Support administrative requirements for events, projects, or company initiatives.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting and administrative workflows.
  • Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 23 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative support roles.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial documentation, and basic taxation or government reporting.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
