Responsibilities:

• Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved merchants.
• Meeting with suitable merchants to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiable pricing and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
• Conducting research on available merchants to determine which merchants offer the best pricing and product quality.
• Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
• Implementing a vendor selection program to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
• Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
• Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.

Requirements & Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
• Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
