About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team at VOION KANE PRINTING ECO PACKING (PHILIPPINES) INC. This is a full-time position based in Santo Tomas City, Batangas. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment that support our printing and eco-packaging operations. This position is integral to ensuring the reliability, efficiency and safety of our electrical infrastructure, directly contributing to our operational excellence and commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and optimise electrical systems and equipment for printing and packaging machinery
- Conduct electrical installations, testing and commissioning of new equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and relevant Philippine electrical codes and regulations
- Collaborate with production teams to identify electrical challenges and implement practical solutions
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics and documentation for electrical installations and modifications
- Monitor electrical performance and energy consumption to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Train and support maintenance staff on electrical equipment operation and safety procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect personnel and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and system upgrades
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Valid Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license or equivalent professional certification in the Philippines
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in electrical engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems and automation
- Proficiency in electrical design software and CAD tools
- Experience with industrial machinery, motors, transformers and electrical safety systems
- Solid understanding of Philippine electrical codes, standards and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English and Filipino
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Preferred: Experience in the printing, packaging or eco-friendly manufacturing sectors
