Job Summary

Associate Project Manager is the link between the commercial delivery team and operations team, securing a cost-effective research delivery process and high-quality end product. Associate Project Managers are responsible for end-to-end delivery of Primary Intelligence (PI) projects assisting the team in fieldwork planning, monitoring and execution (for qualitative), and in providing data delivery and quality checking support, so that the delivery team can focus on insightful outputs to clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally on project execution and escalation
  • Exploring / developing the use of planning tools/platforms to ensure projects are delivered on time and that the requirements are met
  • Continuously reviewing and providing suggestions to improve internal processes using past experiences as well as learning from past / ongoing projects to add value to delivery
  • Acting as fieldwork execution advisor to other members of the PI team, the operational team, and fieldwork vendors / PI local teams
  • Creating, managing, and reviewing quality control protocol, ensuring final data outputs are of the highest quality, accurate, and meet IQVIA standards
  • Working closely with fieldwork and data provider vendors to ensure data quality meets expectations and complies with IQVIA processes (local PI delivery team, Manila operations hub, and vendors to facilitate end-to-end project execution)

Job Scope

Project Set-up Tasks

  • Confirming the final project scope with fieldwork vendors / local teams (i.e., sample size, quota, contact list analysis, timeline)
  • Managing multiple projects and advising on project set-up best practices (i.e., questionnaire to include programming logics, excel file to track tracking information differences, etc.)

Ongoing Project Tasks

  • Working together with Hub, fieldwork partners / local teams to finalize the overlay links
  • First line checking of programmed survey links for delivery team's approval
  • Leading fieldwork briefing sessions and answering queries from different parties
  • Monitoring fieldwork progress and ensuring sample completion as per quota
  • Providing advice / solutions to Market Research / Client Servicing team if there are any difficulties / issues during fieldwork
  • QC and interim and final data table checking, including hole count / raw data, etc.
  • Developing sampling plans and data table specifications and checking interim / final data tables with little supervision
  • Updating & maintaining ongoing project files and documentation (i.e., research materials, timeline, kick-off deck, data table specs, final data tables)

Post Project Tasks

  • Validating the final data tables output and quality of work from fieldwork partners / local PI teams

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate, with at least 5 years of vendor management/project management experience in Primary Market Research
  • Excel proficient and has experience in handling survey programming and data processing tools, i.e., SPSS, Qualtrics
  • Good interpersonal skills, in order to build and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders and vendors
  • Willingness and effectiveness to work with others in and across the organization to accomplish project goals
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal. Able to convey messages clearly to stakeholders and vendors
  • Conversant in both English and local languages where applicable
  • A good team player; contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
  • Own initiative with minimal supervision, but able to recognize when decisions have to be escalated
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and under pressure, as well as constant prioritization of work
  • Effective time management skills; ability to multi-task is vital
