Job Overview

The Stamping technician's main responsibility is to support production on Stamping machines to achieve set line targets. The position requires skills and knowledge in quality, die troubleshooting, and die maintenance. It also involves participating in quality & environmental management, 5S, and Health & Safety activities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform die assembly, disassembly, adjustment, repair, and maintenance.
  • Operate surface grinding machines and conduct tooling inspections and quality control.
  • Read die/product drawings and understand quality requirements.
  • Suggest and lead improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce errors.
  • Support RCA/CA activities by providing accurate information and performing confirmation tasks.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with standards and quality programs.
  • Implement safety procedures, use PPE, handle chemicals per SDS, and report safety incidents.
  • Manage waste disposal and comply with ESH training requirements.
  • Participate in internal audits and support corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain organized storage and proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow company rules, policies, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Stamping Technician.
  • Skilled in operating surface grinding machines.
  • Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledgeable in quality inspection procedures.
