Job Description

As aInformation Security Specialist, you will safeguard critical IT systems by detecting threats, managing incidents, and implementing advanced cybersecurity strategies. You'll continuously monitor vulnerabilities, analyze risks, and strengthen infrastructure security for global clients—ensuring proactive protection and compliance through best practices in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Degree in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
  • At least3 years of experienceinnetwork,system, orcybersecurity operations
  • Experience working in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment (preferred)
  • Proficiency in managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions
  • Strong background in SIEM platforms, log analysis, and security monitoring
  • Solid skills in system hardening for Windows and Linux environments
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, particularly in Azure
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation (a plus)
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA Security (a plus)

Your Daily Tasks

  • Monitor security logs, SIEM platforms, and alerts to detect potential threats
  • Investigate security incidents, apply corrective measures, and enhance protections
  • Conduct forensic analyses to understand and mitigate security incidents
  • Configure, manage, and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security gaps
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and system hardening protocols
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST and SOC 2, and track regulatory requirements
  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments to uncover areas for improvement
  • Write technical reports and document security processes for internal and client use
  • Provide tailored security guidance and solutions to clients
  • Assist in managing security incidents across client environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security solutions
  • Automate monitoring and response tasks through scripting and tool development
  • Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the overall security posture
