Net Software Engineer, Enterprise ERP

Tyler Technologies is looking for a .Net Software Engineer in our Manila, Philippines office to join the Enterprise ERP Financials Development team. The Software Engineer is responsible for coding, testing, and documenting application programs that are moderate to complex in nature, and working with accepted development department standards and procedures.

HYBRID WORK POLICY: Candidate will be required to be in the BGC Metro Manila office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a collaborative fashion with product teams to bring tangible results to market.
  • Maintain existing application programs in both previously released software and software slated for future release.
  • Assure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Participate in agile development environments and assist in sprint definitions/reviews as needed.
  • Prepare and modify program and system documentation.
  • Achieve departmental goals and timelines.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with, or aptitude for, .NET, C#, C++ coding.
  • 1-3 years of software design and development experience with conventional technologies.
  • Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Demonstrated ability for effective multi-tasking and tracking deliverables and timelines.
  • Ability to be successful working on highly visible deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate across team or division boundaries.
  • Experience with data modeling tools and web services is beneficial.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
  • AWS certifications are beneficial.
  • Experience with automated tests, continuous deployment, and test-driven development is beneficial.
  • Experience with GitHub, Kubernetes, and Cloud technologies is a plus.
