Job Description

Plan and implement proactive market applications strategies/activities for the assigned target audience (Owners, End-users, consultants, contractors, etc.) in order to gather market intelligence, and to identify key projects for the purpose of building a targeted quality project pipeline on assigned targeted segments not limited to Renewable Energy, Data Centers, Distribution Utilities, Industries, etc. To influence the key upstream stakeholders on CHINT application solutions and apply unique value selling points via specifications to create the market demand and need for the features/products. Build long-term customer relationships and identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about CHINT products and solutions. Maintain continuous follow-through until the project conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep technical understanding of CHINT's product portfolio and stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including product presentations, solution recommendations, and technical consultation for customers.
  • Identify potential customers and execute engagement strategies to convert prospects into long-term business partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams to tailor customer-centric solutions and influence product development based on market feedback.
  • Prepare market and competitor reports, sharing actionable insights with management for strategic decision-making.
  • Work with partners and stakeholders to design cost-effective and scalable solutions across similar project sites.
  • Write and present technical papers or solutions for professional engineering associations and industry forums.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of application templates, project data, and technical specifications.
  • Manage customer-related Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure resolution in line with company procedures.
  • Support in project planning, tendering, and technical clarification stages as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Preferred to have at least 5 years' experience in technical role or similar fields
  • Solid knowledge of new energy power generation principles, data center power infrastructure, and power distribution systems for industrial and utility applications.
  • Knowledge in electric products, e.g. Transformer, High, Medium and Low voltage switchgear, lighting systems, and etc.
  • Existing customer relationships with Electrical Contractors, Consultants, Owners and End Users will be highly advantageous
  • Strong network within the ecosystem of Electrical Contractors, Consultants, Developers, and End Users is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a matrix organization
  • Willing to travel as required
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with PVsyst
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ AutoCAD or other technical design tools
