Skills and Qualifications:

  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
  • Preferably experienced in handling shared services or multiple companies.
  • Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools and software, with experience in Xero accounting system.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoicing files in Xero and send invoices and statements of account (SOA) to franchisees and relevant personnel.
  • Monitor outstanding balances, follow up with franchisees, reconcile accounts, and compute payment plan availments if needed.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements, follow up on payments, and secure post-dated checks (PDCs) for payment plans.
  • Record and reconcile payments in both working files and Xero accounting system.
  • Ensure monthly closing of the Accounts Receivable (AR) module, proper invoice recording, payment application, and issuance of official receipts (ORs) to franchisees.
  • Maintain billing accounts and records in Xero, including uploading receipts and ORs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
