About the job Operational Risk Management Manager

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of Finance, Accounting, Management, or Business. Preferably with an MBA or Master's Degree in Finance.
  2. Minimum of 4 to 5 years of extensive experience in analyzing operations and identifying risks arising from internal challenges, mismanagement, and breakdowns. Investigate root causes of operational risks and create reports on findings.
  3. Ability to develop a strategic plan to prevent, eliminate, and mitigate operational risks.
  4. Capability to identify, review, and make recommendations on key risks and control issues.
  5. Proficient in various valuation techniques and tools, statistical models, and quantitative analysis.
  6. Stay updated on the latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices.
  7. Ability to lead engagements with minimal supervision from the partner.
  8. Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; highly organized individual with analytical prowess.
  9. Assist in business development by creating proposals and client presentations.
  10. Logical thinker, problem solver, with strong analytical skills and independence.
  11. Ability to handle multiple engagements.
  12. Can manage a team—coach, motivate, and develop team members and mentees assigned.
  13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
