The Team: The Money Market Directories (MMD) team is responsible for data collection and maintenance of a comprehensive web-based information platform tailored specifically for various types of investors and investment managers worldwide. The team creates customer value by providing timely, comprehensive, and accurate data used to help build business relationships; enable and identify new sales opportunities and sources of capital; perform focused prospecting, and develop targeted mailing campaigns. MMD can also provide access to information on key decision-makers who manage investment capital worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect data for a wide range of investment plans and profiles including institutional investors, investment managers, mandates, family offices, consultants, and perform client research requests.
  2. Maintain profiles by sourcing from company websites, regulatory filings, news, and company contact and web-based research.
  3. Identify relevant information on deal activity and the buy/sell-side entities involved.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues both locally and globally to address data timeliness and accuracy.
  5. Participate in and develop projects and processes focusing on data integrity and workflow solutions.
  6. Troubleshoot problems, maintain online services support, and deal with systems and project managers to implement enhancements.
  7. Maintain and develop relevant sources of information and direct contacts within the market.
  8. Build industry knowledge where applicable.
  9. Must be open to doing outbound calls if necessary, for data verification.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 1 year of related work experience in the data collection and research field. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  2. Preferably with a bachelor's degree in the field of Commerce/Finance/Business, Economics, or a related field.
  3. Strong comprehension, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail.
  5. Good oral and written communication skills.
  6. Well-versed in internet searching and Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Comfortable working in night shifts, rotational shifts, and flexible hours.
  8. Must be amenable to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime when required.
  9. Knowledge in SQL and other database technologies is an advantage.
  10. Advanced knowledge in Excel and Macro is a plus.
