The ROLE: Performance Tester Profile

Educational Background:

  • Graduate of Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer engineering or any related degree.

The primary responsibility of the Performance Tester Compliance Manager will be to assess, enhance the performance, scalability, and stability of our systems through load testing, performance monitoring, tuning and optimization using tools such as Microfocus Load Runner, Azure Application Insights, and New Relic. We need an expert in designing test loads including scenario selection, test data prep, execution, and reporting in an enterprise-level application (Web UX, API, Database) as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Testing: Design, develop, execute, and analyze performance tests of enterprise-level applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, scenarios, and success criteria.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish performance monitoring strategies using New Relic to continuously monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks. Generate reports (e.g. dashboards) and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Load and Stress Testing: Conduct Load and Stress tests using LoadRunner to assess system behavior under user loads for Web UX, API, and database.

  • Performance Tuning: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks, recommend optimizations, and implement performance tuning strategies.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare test plans, test scripts, and performance testing reports including findings, recommendations and performance improvement strategies.
