This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for a Senior Accountant:

The Senior Accountant will be directly involved with financial reporting, month-end close, day to day general ledger accounting and working with the Company's external auditors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Month-End Close Cycle: Active involvement in establishing and maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting month-end close cycle.

  • General Ledger and Sub-ledgers: Manage ledgers and any associated supporting schedules.

  • Month-End Closing Process: Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.

  • Process Improvements: Support the global subsidiaries' accounting close process, drive process improvements, and assist with fluctuation analyses and financial statement analytics.

  • SOX Compliance: Support the implementation and documentation of internal control processes and procedures, while ensuring compliance with both internal controls and SOX requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role you must have the following:

  • 10+ years of experience in the General Ledger function.

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years in a management position at a publicly traded high-tech company.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience on Netsuite or ERP: Proficient or experience using NetSuite and large ERP is a plus.

  • Organization and Project Management skills: Strong organizational and project management skills. Strong time management skills and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, with a high customer service focus.

  • Collaboration skills: Great interpersonal skills and commitment to working with a diverse staff.

  • Analytical and Reporting skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excel skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formula usage.

  • Open to working during high-demand periods.

  • Shift: Willing to work on night shift (US hours).

  • Work Set-up: Willing to work on hybrid setup (10-11 days in office per month, Cubao or Ortigas).
