This role combines strategic thinking, hands-on design, and technical implementation, ensuring seamless user experience across digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Angular. Define and enforce best practices for component structure, state management, and performance optimization.

  2. Ensure seamless integration of Angular (for enterprise apps) based on project needs.

  3. Develop and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.

  4. Work closely with backend developers and UX designers to ensure seamless integration of UI with APIs.

  5. Provide technical leadership to UI developers, conduct code reviews, and conduct architectural discussions.

  6. Define and document front-end coding standards, CI/CD strategies, and testing guidelines.

  7. Analyze UX design requirements provided by the client and highlight any gaps in the analysis phase to ensure smooth development and delivery.

  8. Request clear UI design specifications from the client upfront to ensure the design is achieved on the website with minimal or no deviation from the actual requirement.

  9. Ensure pixel-to-pixel implementations are achieved from UX to UI translation wherever feasible as per client specifications.

  10. Demonstrate expertise in advanced Angular concepts, performance optimizations, and best practices.

  11. Build and promote the use of reusable UI components and pattern libraries to streamline development and maintain consistency.

  12. Develop and implement a comprehensive UI testing strategy, including unit tests, integration tests, and UI automation tests.

  13. Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain high code quality in UI development.

  14. Stay current with emerging UI technologies, trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on projects and applying them wherever applicable.

  15. Engage with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and offer recommendations for UI design and development.

  16. Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide training and guidance to help them advance in their roles.

  17. Enforce pattern libraries to reduce rework and enhance the UI experience across multiple devices and tools.

  18. Conduct internal training for best practices and new design methodologies.

  19. Learn new languages/technologies through certification/training to expand skills in their work area.

  20. Assist in carrying out POCs in the same or other projects.

  21. Identify ways to reduce bugs reported in UI development and improve current quality.

  22. Continuously seek optimal ways of doing things on the frontend to ensure the website is lightweight from a UI perspective.

  23. Communicate actively across all channels [scrums/WhatsApp/emails/Jira threads].

Qualifications:

  1. 10-12 years of experience in UI / Frontend Development.

  2. Cross-browser compatibility.

  3. Web Accessibility WCAG.

  4. Good English communication skills.

  5. Expertise in Angular (v12+) with deep knowledge of components, services, directives, and lifecycle hooks.

  6. Strong hands-on experience with Angular Material and Bootstrap for UI development.

  7. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  8. Experience in Responsive Web Design (RWD) using media queries, flexbox, and grid layout.

  9. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for efficient front-end-backend communication.

  10. Experience with state management libraries (NgRx, Akita, or similar).

  11. Understanding of progressive web apps (PWAs) and performance optimization techniques.

  12. Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.

  13. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment automation.

  14. Exposure to micro frontends architecture.

  15. Awareness of tools like Figma, Invision.
