JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Demand Creation / Events Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative brand events that drive awareness, consideration, and ultimately, purchase decisions for Sony Philippines. This role requires a strong understanding of event conceptualization, event planning, marketing strategy, and a passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences for our target audiences.
Conceptualize and Develop Event Strategies:
Brainstorm and develop event concepts that align with marketing objectives and target audience interests.
Create detailed event plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistics.
Develop and monitor KPIs for each event execution.
Develop compelling event themes and messaging that resonates with the target audience in collaboration with internal stakeholders and 3rd party events agencies.
Event Execution and Management:
Oversee all aspects of event execution, including venue sourcing, vendor selection, logistics coordination, and on-site management.
Manage event budgets and ensure events are delivered within budget constraints.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product marketing, marketing communications, creatives) to ensure successful event execution.
Lead Generation and Sales:
Develop lead mechanics to integrate CRM acquisition every event (e.g., contests, surveys, etc).
Analyze event data to track key metrics (e.g., attendance, lead generation, customer engagement) and suggest points of improvement for succeeding executions.
Identify opportunities to convert event attendees into customers.
Brand Building and Awareness:
Leverage events to build brand awareness and strengthen brand image.
Create engaging event experiences that leave a lasting positive impression on attendees.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
Stay informed about the latest event trends, technologies, and best practices.
Research and identify new opportunities for event-based marketing initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field.
Proven ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute successful events.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proactive and fast learner.
Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and project management tools.
Passion for creating engaging and memorable brand experiences.
