Ubiquity is hiring for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and collaborating with the software engineers, system engineers, and other IT staff members. He will also manage code releases. Supports the designing, planning, and testing of existing networks and systems infrastructure.

What it will do:

  1. Suggests and provides development tools for Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Analysts to make their tasks more efficient.
  2. Ensures the scalability & extensibility of software through improvements & application refactoring.
  3. Improves software quality through integration of automated tests.
  4. Creates and maintains documentation for tools & application architecture.
  5. Ensures reliability, availability, security, and stability of systems.
  6. Performs regular maintenance & backup and troubleshoots system-related issues as needed.

What do we need from you?

  1. A graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or any related field.
  2. With at least 2 years DevOps Engineer experience is a must.
Experience in using or working with the following:
  1. Unix System Administration.
  2. Cloud computing platforms preferably AWS, etc.
  3. Continuous Integration Tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, etc.
  4. Relational and NoSQL databases such MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.
  5. Version Control System such as Git, etc.
  6. Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Docker, etc.
  7. Highly proactive in initiating process improvements and possible upgrade or development in existing processes.
  8. Backend programming and scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Bash, etc. (a plus).
  9. Frontend programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc. (a plus).
