Job Description

The responsibilities of the Financial Controller are:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning
  • Work closely with team members to maintain accurate financial records
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices
  • Support the formulation and execution of financial strategies
  • Handle various finance-related tasks as needed by the business
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audit activities
  • Provide financial insights and assistance to other departments as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A CPA qualification and degree in Accounting
  • Big 4 audit exposure is an advantage
  • Strong leadership qualities and mentorship capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Good understanding of various systems, particularly Netsuite
