About the role

As an Accountant at the Vista Marina Hotel and Resort, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting processes. This full-time role is based at our stunning hotel and resort located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Conducting regular audits and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the company's financial data
  • Providing financial reporting and analysis to management, as well as supporting decision-making processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
  • Mentoring and supervising junior accounting staff, as necessary

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • A professional demeanour and the ability to maintain confidentiality
