Responsibilities

Job Description: Finance Associate

  1. Preparation of Disbursement Vouchers and ensure timely processing of claims
  2. Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Expanded withholding taxes, VAT and other Tax related returns.
  3. Assist in the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and periodic reports including assisting in QuickBooks Journal Entry
  4. Process requisitions and other business forms, ensuring account balances are accurate and purchases are approved.
  5. Manage manual account books for BIR, issue invoices, and oversee payments.
  6. Maintaining cashbook for proper checks and balance.
  7. Manage liquidations of Cash Advances.
  8. Support audit processes, reviews, and tax preparation activities.
  9. Regularly update financial spreadsheets and reports with the most current data.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation.
  11. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain manual and computerized accounting records
  • Ability to interpret and apply the provisions of laws, rules, and policies
  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and has keen attention to small details
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
